Battlefront 3...

Neat to know LucasArts torpedoed this awesome game (bf3) for 'the force unleashed'. If only the force unleashed was a a good game...

Battlefront 1 & 2, however, individually, per platform, outsold every copy of force unleashed combined. How was it so hard to just let one of the last good (actually, only) good Star Wars game live on and succede? Now if you liked Empire at War, sorry, but it's too repetitive and poorly optimised.

Star Wars Galaxies Free Severs

It turns out you can get a larger turnout for your investment if you do not use Star Wars: Galaxies own servers. You still need to pay for the software, as most freely hosted SWG servers that do not require a subscription fee, need you to already have paid for the software, so no attempts to use the free Demo on these would be tolerated. www.swgemu.com has a popular server that is never down, and a Google search would only turn up more.

The Force Unleashed

In the new to be released game, The Force Unleashed, you supposedly play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice, then in the trailer, it shows a Force-user killing stormtroppers and destroying Imperial property. Now what affiliation does this apprentice have? To Vader, or to the Alliance?

LucasFilm announced they have canceled one of their upcoming books about the Sith Lord, Darth Plagueis, believed to be Sidious'(Palpatine's) master .

Random Thing

Did you know, if you spell gibberish wrong, or if you began it with a J, it warns you that it is misspelled in Mozilla Firefox? There apparently is a correct way to spell a random word!


For those of you trying it and not finding the spell-check feature, it has to be enabled first in Tools--> Options in the menu bar.

New game from EAW's creators

Empire at War's and the exp, Forces of Corruption, creator has just recently announced a new game call Universe at War, and many of the ideas posted by LucasArts fans on the EAW thread for the game are now found in this new game. (A gaming magazine first published this, it is not released yet)


I still cannot get over it's name, what is next? Senate at War?, and it's hit expansion, Forces of Corruption 2? (due to "politically correct" gibberish, it is now called Forces of Lobbying)
